Business Communication Class on 29 Oct


my previous business communication class, we discussed about anything else (such as: an article called Passport, the purposes of report, how to make a report, 4DL, begins to interview, how to develop our business/work) and now I'm going to share the topic that I got from the previous class. First, I will  describe about the purposes of report and why we need to write the report? *Report is a very formal document and the purposes of writing the report are to influence decisions, to convey essential information, to be used in determining changes and improvement. Besides the purpose, there is the expectations of the project trough writing the report. *The expectations of the project is against the progress and result and report closes with suggestion or recommendation. There are some handicaps, why difficult to write a report?. *Why difficult to write a report because there are some steps that should we go trough, there are defining information by collecting information then after getting those information, the next step is summarizing information in order to be easier when organizing information and the last is making recommendation. Actually, it can be easier by 4DL and it can be related to everything that we will do. 4DL means Define - Design - Develop - Deliver / Learning. Trough those process from defining until delivering, it can be called that we are learning something. In making a report, to get some information from someone else we can do an interview and the important thing that should we know to interview someone is first we have to set up demography (means we have to know 'who is the person' whom we want to interview, don't make a mistake from choosing the wrong one because it'll make you difficult to have the information), second we have to set up question guidelines (means we get the answer which is answering two questions at once while interviewing and we need question guidelines). The last that I want to describe is how to develop our business/work in all fields. There are some steps that we should know first, such as: cash flow, profit, growth, fellowcity, customer. If you want to have a business, make sure that you have the 'cash flow' first (it needs minimum two years to look or keep the stability of your cash flow), after two years and your cash flow is stable you can calculate your 'profit' (it takes again minimum two years to keep your profit stability, make sure again with your 'cash flow' to not decrease because cash flow is the core of everything), of course we want to develop our business and make it 'growth' (to develop our business or make it growth, again we have to keep the stability of our cash flow and profit because the process of developing our business we should have the cash flow and our profit are increasing in order to not become the problem or losers anytime), After several time our business growth increases the next problem is the fellowcity or in the other hand our speed of finishing the work (more busy you are, it can be slower your work. In this step 'fellowcity' can be answer the next step that is 'customer' because it depends on your speed in finishing work which means if you are too slowly of finishing work your customer can be lost and from that it can be identified between your key customers and only customer), the last is your 'customer' (after trough several steps before especially the 'fellowcity', your customers can be showed their loyality. It means that you can know and identify your key customer and after know it you just have to keep them because they are your next core in your business).
